£12,000 of jewellery and cash stolen in Saffron Walden flat burglary

JEWELLERY, a laptop and cash totalling £12,000 has been stolen in a Saffron Walden house burglary.

Suspects broke into the first floor flat in Debden Road through a door, causing £50 damage, before making off with the goods.

Detectives are appealing for witnesses and information to the burglary, which happened between 5.30am and 10am on Tuesday May 26.
