POLICE are appealing for information after �12,000 worth of plant pots were stolen from a nursery in Hackmans Lane, Purleigh, Chelmsford.

Between 4pm on June 1 and 7am on June 6, suspects removed �12,000 worth of 20 litre black plastic plant pots, that had ‘plant pack’ written on the base of the pot were stolen.

Investigating officer, Pc Mark Smith, said: “It would have taken some time to load so many plant pots onto a vehicle, so we want to speak to anyone that was in the area at the time who may have seen a suspicious vehicle. Also, if you see these pots being sold under suspicious circumstances anywhere, we want to hear from you.”
