A motorcyclist was injured after being involved in a collision with a car this evening (Sunday).
An emergency flying doctor, who had stopped to assist at the scene on Mount Pleasant Road, Saffron Walden, was treating the male motorcyclist when he flagged down firefighters to help at about 5.55pm.
It is understood the injured man, believed to be in his 20s, was treated for suspected broken bones.
Fire crews administered trauma care and oxygen therapy working alongside the doctor while waiting for an ambulance to arrive.
