Young people who have made a positive contribution to their school, family or community were recognised at the annual Rotary Club of Saffron Walden Book Awards.
Nominations are open to local primary, junior and senior schools, as well as youth associations.
Great Sampford, Katherine Semar, RA Butler Academy and St Thomas More, and Saffron Walden County High, Newport Grammar and Friends’ were involved.
And, for the first time this year, nominees were also invited from The Goldie Youth Club, St John Ambulance Cadets and the Army Cadet Force.
The awards were presented by Andrew Turnbull from sponsors Harts at Uttlesford District Council offices last Wednesday (June 11).
