A 23-YEAR-OLD woman was taken to hospital after suffering face and arm injuries when the car she was driving collided with a tree.
Firefighters were called to the one-vehicle crash involving a purple and white Mini Cooper on the B1051 near Great Sampford at about 9am yesterday morning (Wednesday).
Two crews, from Thaxted and Wethersfield, helped free the woman using specialist cutting equipment and she was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital by land ambulance at around 9.45am.
