THE Saffron Walden Arts Trust (SWAT) has teamed up with a recycling company to work towards a cleaner environment while at the same time raising funds for the arts in Saffron Walden.
Saffron Walden residents are invited to join SWAT's campaign for more recycling. To recycle your old mobile or ink cartridges, just pick up one of the Freepost recycling envelopes available at the Riverslade Gallery, or the Saffron Walden Tourist Information Centre. Then simply place one or more inkjet cartridges or mobiles into the envelope and pop it into any Royal Mail postbox - no stamp required.
Each mobile and cartridge returned for recycling will raise some money towards the arts, especially the second Saffron Walden Arts Festival in June this year. SWAT plans to add recycling facilities for laser/toner cartridges soon.
