ARTISTS can now apply to have their work exhibited at Saffron Walden Library's gallery.
The selection panel will be looking for a wide variety of artists working with different media and offering a broad range of subject matter.
Judges will be guided by Essex Libraries' policy of encouraging new talent by providing artists with a showcase for their work.
Essex County Councillor David Finch said: "There is already tremendous interest in exhibiting in the library next year. The venue has wonderful natural lighting and attracts thousands of people every year."
The closing date for the 2009/10 programme is Saturday November 14. Forms can be obtained from the library information desk, by contacting Jill Palmer on 01799 523178 or by e-mailing exchange.gallery@essexcc.gov.uk
