INTREPID ghosthunters are being given the chance to witness some of the alleged supernatural activity in Saffron Walden.
As part of the Great Essex Witch Hunt, London Paranormal is holding a ghost watch and sleepover at the 600-year-old haunted house, The Maltings, on Saturday June 6 from 9pm to 7am.
London Paranormal founder, Ian John Shillito, said: "We know of three unfortunate ladies who were tried in Saffron Walden for sorcery. The Maltings is one of the oldest locations in the town and would've been familiar sight to accused.
"This outstanding historical building claims to be haunted by a black mass. Is this the ghost of the witches? We can't wait to find out."
If you would like to take part in the ghost hunt contact London Paranormal Direct on 079822 30208, e-mail londonparanormal@gmail.com or visit www.londonparanormal.com
The event costs 55 per person, booked in advance.
