CHILDREN at St Mary's Church Pre-School in Saffron Walden raised their voices to raise money for a national charity.
The Castle Street nursery youngsters joined in a sing-along in support of I CAN's Chatterbox Challenge 2009.
The theme was weather, with children of all ages performing songs about rainbows and sunshine.
Nursery manager, Faye Jeffs, said: "The children practised for weeks and were very excited about performing for their Chatterbox Challenge.
"The rhythm, repetition and use of actions during the songs will aid the development of important communication skills."
The Chatterbox Challenge forms part of I CAN's Make Chatter Matter awareness-raising campaign to highlight the importance of children's communications as the foundations of learning and development.
