Children took part in Christingle services to celebrate the Christmas period.

Christingle celebrations use oranges, red ribbons and candles to represent Jesus as the 'light of the world'.

At Holy Trinity Church in Littlebury, Reverend Alex was dressed as a living Christingle by Reverend Ella, the new curate.

Children got to make their own Christingle as part of Holy Trinity's 'café church' service.

Radwinter CoE Primary School also enjoyed their annual Christingle service, which was held in church for the first time in three years.

The children prepared their Christingles in school using oranges and sweets to represent the different components.

The school's Worship Council led the service. Headteacher Emily Bartram said: "Everyone was so proud of how well they spoke."
