The Warm Welcome Hub in the Town Hall is available to everyone - of all ages and circumstances - every Monday and Friday from 12 noon to 3pm, until Monday, April 3.

The service is operated by a team of volunteers from Saffron Walden Churches Together.

A Saffron Walden Town Council spokesperson said: "The collaboration between SWTC and Churches Together is working exceptionally well – a public thank you to the volunteers, without whom this service wouldn’t be possible, and an individual thank you to John Capper for coordinating the volunteer rota."

The town council also thanked Essex County Council for providing grant funding from their Community Winter Warmth and Welcome Spaces Fund.
