Robert Dyas will open a new store in Saffron Walden next month.

The store will open on Tuesday, February 7 in Trevax House at 10 Hill Street, in the site previously occupied by Laura Ashley and across the road from Waitrose and Fairycroft Road car park.

Robert Dyas sells supplies for homes and gardens, from kitchen electricals and cleaning appliances to gardening equipment, DIY tools, and ironmongery.

The store has also significantly grown its online presence, and customers can make use of various services in-store.

These include transferring money with Western Union, getting personalised house number plates created, sending packages and documents worldwide from the DHL service point or having new keys cut.

The new store is one of more than 90 Robert Dyas stores across the South of England.

Robert Dyas owner and chairman Theo Paphitis said: "I’m delighted that Robert Dyas will be part of the Saffron Walden community from next month, offering customers the chance to access thousands of fantastic home and garden products at great prices and, importantly, at their convenience.

"It is the perfect time to add to the Robert Dyas portfolio, of nearly 100 stores across the south of the UK, and I can’t wait to visit."
