Saffron Walden Golf Club has raised £25,000 over the past year to donate to charities in the town.
The Walden Charity Trophy Committee was founded in October 1973, and has been raising funds for local charities and organisations for 50 years.
This year's total was raised by the seniors, ladies and men's sections.
Captains for 2022 Glynn Goodwin and Claire Richardson chose to support the Uttlesford Foodbank and the John Huntingdon Charity, each receiving £8,500.
The remaining £8,000 was donated to CAB, Riding for Disabled, Saffron Walden Mencap, Saffron Walden Choral Society, Saffron Walden Dementia Action Alliance, Saffron Walden CC Junior Academy and the Golf Club's junior scholarship.
