A pupil at Newport Primary School raised £1,026 towards the end of school residential trip, while staff members ran the Cambridge Half Marathon to raise money for school toilets.
Charlie Rutter cycled 10 laps of Newport Common - approximately 3.5km - on a particularly boggy day.
His run was fulled by doughnuts, lemonade, the cheers of spectators and people who ran alongside him, and he recovered afterwards by eating bacon sandwiches with his family.
Meanwhile headteacher Rebecca Pine, deputy head Keeley Chandler and staff members Amie Flack, Charlotte Mortimer and Kylie Purcell ran the half marathon in Cambridge on Sunday, March 5.
The team members wore toilet and loo roll-themed costumes to complete the challenge, as well as T-shirts with the slogan 'raise a penny to spend a penny'.

The team trained by walking, jogging and doing pilates in order to complete the distance of just over 13.1 miles.
Their initial fundraising target was £1,000, but they managed to raise just over £6,000 - and they are still hoping to raise more.
Headteacher Rebecca said: "The team was brilliantly supported by staff and families from the school on the day and loved the atmosphere of the crowd."
