Pupils at Wimbish Primary School held a 'Mayan Day' to celebrate the ancient civilisation.
The children - in Years 4, 5 and 6 - created Mayan-style outfits, and took part in a craft carousel which included clay masks, spiritual eye weaving and creating homemade lip balm.
Pupils also listened to Mayan music and worked together to create a 'soundscape' with a variety of instruments, resembling a Mayan ceremony.

The topic is new to Wimbish, and to prepare for the day, the children wrote non-fiction reports and imaginative poetry based around the same theme.
Pupil Dikshya Pun said: "I really liked 'Mayan Day' because it really felt like I was in the Mayan Civilization and I got a really nice experience.''
