The new Neon, Vinyl & Art Pop Up Shop in Saffron Walden held an open evening to raise money for charities.

The open evening took place at the shop in Emson Close, which is normally open from 10am to 4pm on Saturdays, on Friday, July 28.

A raffle raised £510 for the mayor's chosen charities of Fairycroft House and the Saffron Walden Youth Outreach Project.

Top prize was a blue neon clef sign, along with champagne, wine, chocolates and a double album by Stevie Wonder.

Mayor Cllr Heather Asker said: "We had a wonderful evening at the Pop Up Shop, where Mark, Rob and Fiona kindly opened the doors to promote my fundraising causes, while showcasing their fabulous eclectic wares."
