A cyclist was injured after a car ran over her leg in Great Chesterford.

Police are appealing for witnesses following the collision, which took place on London Road at around 8.40am on Tuesday, January 16.

The cyclist was involved in a collision with a car, which stopped at the scene.

While the cyclist was laid in the road, another car drove over one of her legs and failed to stop at the scene.

She was taken to hospital with serious injuries which are not believed to be life-changing.

Enquiries remain ongoing.
