£39,000 BMW stolen after thieves swipe car keys from owner’s Essex home

A SILVER BMW 5 Series was stolen in Saffron Walden after burglars stole the keys from the owner’s home.

At about 2.15am on Thursday (December 9) the burglars broke into the Loompits Way property by forcing the front door, causing £500 damage.

They then found and used the keys to drive away the BMW, index AK60 URW, valued at £39,000. They also stole items including iPod, MacLaren pushchair and sunglasses, with a total value of £1000.

The owners were in the property at the time of the attack.
