62-year-old Dunmow woman reported for drink driving following crash into wall

A 62-year-old Dunmow woman is to appear in court for drink driving after a car crashed into a wall and another vehicle in Steeple Bumpstead last week.

Police attended Chapel Street in the village at just before 5pm on Tuesday, March 8, following reports that a car had collided with a brick wall and a blue Audi A4.

The car, a blue Mercedes, then left the scene.

A spokesperson for Essex Police confirmed that a 62-year-old woman from Dunmow was later reported for drink driving and will appear in court in due course.
