A MAN from Chelmsford is due to appear in court next month after having been charged with a number of fraud-related offences which netted more than �7.5m.
The 35-year-old man was arrested in August 2010 and on Tuesday (May 15) was charged with 15 counts of obtaining money by deception, 21 counts of fraud and one count of theft. The offences relate to a period between 2005-2010, during which time 250 people became victims.
He has been released on police bail prior to his appearance at Chelmsford Magistrates Court in late June. Members of the media can obtain his details by contacting Essex Police Press Office.
