CHILDREN at Katherine Semar Infants School participated in a special Harvest Festival assembly with songs and poems.
For the new Early Years pupils it was their first performance at school.
A school spokesman said: “We had a great response for the donations of fruit, vegetables and other foods. These were all taken down to the community room at Four Acres for distribution among the elderly.
“There was a fantastic attendance at the assembly by parents.”
