Road closed in Linton after two-vehicle crash

The A1307 is closed in both directions following a crash between Linton and Horseheath.

Police were called at 6.15am this morning to reports of a collision on the A1307 at Linton.

The collision involved two cars - a Volkswagen Polo and a Vauxhall Astra.

Officers arrived at the scene, together with the fire service and paramedics and one man in the Astra received serious but not life-threatening injuries. He was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital by ambulance and a woman in the VW Polo received minor injuries.

Cambridgeshire police said the road is expected to be closed for some time while the vehicles involved are recovered.
