DROP-IN sessions to bring impartial advice and information on issues affecting older people are being held at Saffron Walden Library.
Age Concern Essex has teamed up with Uttlesford Over-Sixties Association to provide the sessions, which are on the first Tuesday of every month, from 10am to 1pm.
Age Concern's Essex Advice and Information Service is a dedicated service for older people, their relative and friends. It provides up to date information on legal, financial, health and welfare benefits, and expert advice from trained staff on issues affecting older people, such as benefits, housing and long term and community care.
The service also provides information about activities, clubs and services in the area.
The service is free and, whatever your concern, the advisors will be very happy to talk to you, and to help you find what you're after.
All conversations with the advisors will be treated as strictly confidential and any information the advisors provide you with will be impartial, accessible, accurate and appropriate to your needs.
