An air ambulance was called after a toddler collapsed at home in Saffron Walden yesterday (Wednesday).
The East Anglian Air Ambulance landed in a school field at 2.41pm and its doctor and paramedic climbed over a fence to get to the home.
They treated a boy who had collapsed but had regained consciousness and alertness.
He was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge as a precaution.
