Another big THANK-YOU to the people of Saffron Walden and Tesco

SEVEN of our Scouts at 1st Saffron Walden Scout Group again helped shoppers with their bag-packing in Tesco over the lunchtime period on Saturday February 16.
A further £237.32 was raised for the group to add to funds already raised at Christmas. The money raised will benefit all current and future members of the entire group, aged between six and 14, by means of new equipment and will help give valuable experiences to the children of Saffron Walden.
Therefore, we would like to once again thank all of the people who visited Tesco that day for their generosity and Tesco for having us there. As usual their staff were very helpful and friendly.
The Scouts involved also showed great enthusiasm in what they were doing and a massive well done to them again also.
There is currently space within the Scout Troop for new members and also for any adults within Scouting generally. Please give me a call on 07967 500818 and I will point you in the right direction.
