Appeal for witnesses after motorist is assaulted on the A120 near Great Dunmow

Police are appealing for witnesses after a motorist was assaulted on the A120 at Great Dunmow.

Between 7am and 8am on October 18, a man in his 40s was assaulted in his vehicle after a silver Mercedes drove erratically and then blocked the road at the end of the A120 off-slip at Great Dunmow.

A man described as white, aged 25-35-years-old, 5ft 6ins tall, of proportionate build with a bald head, approached the victim’s vehicle and punched him twice in the face.

The suspect was wearing a bomber-style jacket and jeans.
