Police want to hear from anyone with information about an incident where an object was dropped from a bridge on the M11 motorway causing damage to the sunroof of a car.
A woman from Norfolk was driving northwards on the M11 at around 5.15pm on Tuesday, January 21 when the object is believed to have been thrown from the junction 7 bridge over the motorway.
The sunroof of the woman’s car, a black Volkswagen Golf, was smashed but the woman was not injured.
A spokesman for Essex Police said: “The bridge above the motorway at this time would have been very busy with commuter traffic and police are keen to speak to anyone who saw any suspicious behaviour in the area at the time.”
Anyone with information should call PC Joseph Leppard at Essex Police on 101 or ring Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
