A Montblanc pen was stolen


Officers are investigating a burglary at a house in Saffron Walden where thieves stole several electronic items and an expensive pen.

The house, in Fair Leas, was broken into sometime between 11pm on Thursday, July 23, and 6am on Friday, July 24, while the occupants were asleep.

Burglars stole a Montblanc pen, similar to the ones pictured, worth approximately £245, and cut the power lead to a 40-inch Samsung television before taking the television and remote control.

Other items taken included a Dell laptop, iPhone 4 and an Apple MacBook Air laptop.
