THE 1830s Parterre and the Pond Garden at Audley End House and Gardens are planted with hyacinths, primroses, tulips, daffodils and forget-me-nots and are now springing into life after the cold start to spring.
Every year the colour scheme varies but it is always quite a spectacle with around 16,500 bedding plants and 19,000 bulbs. This year is no exception – lilacs, pinks, creams and blues have all been included in the design.
