AMERICAN war veterans portrayed in the acclaimed Band of Brothers television series landed in Stansted today (Monday) to unveil a plaque dedicated to the role that the airport played during the Second World War.
Buck Compton, Donald Malarkey, Ed Tipper and Bradford Freeman were all invited to the terminal to share their incredible stories - from first arriving in the UK to the final D-day invasions.
