BARCLAYS has announced the appointment of Claire Carse as the new branch manager for Sawston.
Ms Carse, 46, will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the branch and management of the eight staff.
She has been with Barclays for 28 years and was previously a personal banker and manager's assistant.
Commenting on her new role, she said: "Sawston branch already has a good record for customer service and I will be working with my staff to build on this. Customers will find me approachable and keen to provide a first class service.

Born in Cambridge and living in Sawston, Ms Carse is a keen fundraiser for animal charities.
