CELEBRITY Big Brother star Ian 'H' Watkins gave youngsters at the Bedazzle Performing Arts Schools a day to remember when he hosted two workshops on Saturday.

The former Steps singer visited the students at Newport Free Grammar School and Mountfitchet Maths and Computing College to pass on tips and advice, before performing on stage alongside the pupils.

Principal Diane Janssen said: "It was absolutely brilliant and the students at both schools had a great time.

"Ian did workshops with the pupils, teaching them the dance routine to the Steps song A Deeper Shade of

Blue which he performed with them.

"He then took part in a 20- minute question and answer session as he's one of our celebrity mentors, which is all about passing on everything he's learned to give the benefit of his experience."

The day gave the nine to 16-year-olds the chance to audition for the end-of-year production in June.

Bedazzle students will begin to be put forward for professional work in May.

The school currently has vacancies. For more details, visit www.bedazzlearts.eu or call 01799 542614.
