Bishop’s Stortford man charged with stealing Christmas trees from Saffron Walden Tesco

A man has been apprehended after Christmas trees were stolen from a Saffron Walden shop.
Officers charged Daniel Wild, 63, from Bishop’s Stortford, today (Friday) with two counts of theft from the Radwinter Road Tesco after two Christmas trees were thieved on November 27 and 29.
Mr Wild, of Park Avenue, is due to appear at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court on March 9 and was released on bail.
