HATS of all shapes, sizes and colours were created and proudly worn by children at Heidi's Montessori Nursery School in Clavering.

The magnificent bonnets were made as part of the children's celebration of spring, which also involved fun outdoor activities and learning about the religious significance of Easter.

Nursery owner Heidi Moyer said: "The children made beautiful Easter bonnets that concluded with a competition at the end of the week. The Easter Bunny visited the school and delivered lots of surprises of chocolate eggs and bunnies on the village green for all the children to find.

"The children had egg and spoon races and thoroughly enjoyed the celebration of spring.
