A festival of bouncy castles took place on Saffron Walden Common on Saturday, June 3.
An inflable village for a bouncy castles fun day was established in one area of the common as the Flavours of the World Market took place over the weekend from Friday to Sunday.
The bouncy castles were installed in a fenced off village with the parents all sitting around on the grass outside while the youngsters enjoyed jumping on the structures and sliding down the slides.
Both events made good use of the common on a sunny day and drew the crowds.
Mark Walker of Saffron Walden Bouncy Castles said after their first event on the common earlier this year, parents had asked when we were coming back.”
More castle villages are planned on the common for August and September and to coincide with one of the classic car shows and the town’s carnival events, The Eight-Day Weekend to take place in July.
