THREE men have been arrested on suspicion of robbery after police were called to an incident in Elizabeth Close, Saffron Walden.
Officers were called at around 10.25pm last night (Thursday) after a man was reportedly pushed to the ground and kicked by two other men and a teenager, before having his bag stolen.
A police helicopter circled the area in support of officers on the ground – generating a lot of buzz from concerned residents on social media sites Twitter and Facebook.
Three males aged 17, 19 and 20 have been arrested suspicion of robbery and are currently in police custody.
