INTRICATELY crafted Viking longships by year four, a giant lion from DT Club and a Forest School-inspired display by reception of woodland creepy crawlies – these were just a few of the wonderful sights at this year’s Dame Bradbury’s School Art Exhibition, ‘Art Works’.
woodland creepy crawlies by the reception class were just a few of the wonderful sights at this year’s Dame Bradbury’s School Art Exhibition, ‘Art Works’.
The annual display featured work by all of the children in the school, from nursery to Year 6, and was visited by parents, friends and family, as well as teachers from other schools.
Self-portraits in crayon, racing Greek chariots, chalk drawings of Arctic animals, fabric bags, stringed puppets, glazed clay snakes, pencil drawings of chickens and Henry Moore-inspired sculpture were some of the different examples of media used by the children throughout the year.
