TRADE union Unite, which represents the majority of British Airways (BA) cabin crew, has announced its intention to take strike action this month.
Members will walk out on March 20, 21 and 22 and then March 27, 28, 29 and 30 March 2010.
BA has said that if a strike does go ahead, it intends to operate a range of flights and not all flights will be cancelled.
BA is currently finalising its flight schedules for the strike period and have temporarily stopped selling seats on all flights operating on the strike dates. BA will finalise these schedules in the next few days and further information will be posted on the BA website.
