A flight carrying vital emergency supplies and equipment bound for Philippines took off from Stansted Airport today (Thursday, November 14).
The British Airways World Cargo Boeing 747-8 freighter departed from the airport at 8.30am carrying Land Rovers, diggers and emergency aid from the British Red Cross.
The plane, crewed and owned by BA partner Global Supply Systems, will stop en route in Frankfurt, Germany, before flying on to Cebu in the Philippines.
