A broken down train has led to disruption for hundreds of rail passengers this lunchtime.
Train services between Cambridge and London Liverpool Street are now returning to normal, operator Greater Anglia has said, but some services may still be cancelled or delayed by up to 60 mins.
It followed the earlier failure of the 12.04pm Cambridge - Liverpool Street service, which broke down leaving Elsenham due to a fault on the train. A rescue train assisted and the failed train was on the move again by around 1.30pm.
Disruption is still expected until 3pm.
Greater Anglia has apologised to rail passengers for the delays and inconvenience caused.
