Burglars flee house empty-handed

POLICE are appealing for help tracing the people responsible for a burglary in Saffron Walden on Saturday night.
The burglary happened between 6pm and 10.45pm at a house in Summer Hill Road, while its owners were out. The culprits broke in and rummaged through the property, but left empty-handed.
However, £200 damage was done in the incident and police are keen to trace the people responsible.
