BURGLARS broke into a house in Ashdon and stole about �5000 worth of goods including a car which was later found burnt out.
The thieves, who raided the home on Guildhall Way sometime between December 12 and January 11, gained entry by smashing the glass in a rear door causing almost �3000 worth of damage.
The items stolen included electrical equipment, jewellery, toys and a small amount of cash. A silver Ford Fiesta was also taken which was discovered burnt out in Walden Road, Ashdon, on Monday (January 11) afternoon.
