SPORTS clothing and equipment worth between £40-£50,000 have been stolen from an industrial unit.
Burglars smashed their way into Alliance Sports, on Dunmow Road, Rayne, causing considerable damage. Sport shoes and clothing were taken.
The incident happened overnight April 23-23.
Police want to speak to anyone who may have seen suspicious activity in the area or may have been offered sports wear on the cheap.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact Pc Daniel Parrish at Braintree police station on 101.
