Cliff's couch to 5K raises funds for 3G pitch

Call The Midwife star Cliff Parisi has boosted Saffron Walden Community Youth Sport Club’s fundraising for their new 3G artificial grass pitch by more than £1,000.
He smashed his Couch to 5K challenge, finishing at Herberts Farm.

In a Twitter video shared with fans, he said: “It has been great fun doing it and an honour to do it for the football pitch.”

The aim is to install the artificial pitch in 2021.

The community youth sports club is run by volunteers and provides access to football for youngsters.
