Fire crews from Stansted and Harlow were called to Gold Close yesterday (February 11) at around 5.20pm and were later joined by police officers.
A spokesman for the Essex County Fire and Rescue service said that the car had left the roadway and ended up in the side of a bungalow. He added: "Crews reported that there was no structural damage to the property and efforts were then made to make it safe."
No-one involved in the incident was injured and no-one was trapped.
