DETECTIVES are appealing for information and witnesses after a house burglary in Stansted.

Between 12noon and 12.30pm on January 20, two men gained entry to a property off Forest Hall Road by forcing a rear window causing an estimated �500 of damage.

The suspects then stole keys, jewellery and a small amount of cash, with an estimated total value of �2600, before being disturbed and running away.

The first suspect is described as a white man, aged around 25-30 years old, around 5ft10ins tall, with short dark hair and of slim build.

The second suspect is described as a white man, aged around 30 years old, around 5ft 10ins tall, of large build and with short, cropped, dark hair.
