A TELEVISION editor from Clavering has her fingers crossed that her latest work scoops a BAFTA.

Lindsey Dillon has worked for the BBC, ITV and Channel 4 on many productions, the latest of which - children's programme Grandpa in my Pocket starring James Bolam - could win an award at the BAFTA ceremony on November 29.

Lindsey, who has just finished working on series two, said: "It's really exciting to think something I've worked on could win [a BAFTA].

"The first series of Grandpa was really hard work but the results show for themselves. It was really fun working with James Bolam and the team.

"The programme was edited at home - we even involved Clavering school where my son Louis goes. The children watch the unfinished shows so we could get the feedback we needed to help make the programme work better."

Freelancer Lindsey runs her own sideline business of filming and editing live performances from her home in Clavering. Blueprint Video Services provides a professional service for schools, dance and drama companies in Essex and Herts.

"I am very excited about Christmas this year," said Lindsey. "We are getting bookings for school plays, shows and pantomimes so please contact me to get your production filmed

"My business is becoming a great success and so now with the Christmas season coming up I hope I will be as busy as in the summer."

Her DVD packages can include backstage footage, rehearsals and interviews to go together with her film of the production.
