POLICE have released CCTV footage of suspects they are trying to trace as part of their investigations into unsolved crimes in Saffron Walden and Stansted.

Two black males used two bricks and a branch to smash a security glass window at Event Computer Group, Riverside Business Park, Stoney Common Road, Stansted, causing an estimated £350 worth of damage.

The attack happened at 8.21pm on September 13.

At Boots on Saffron Walden Market Square, two white males took various cosmetics and other items from the displays and left without making any attempt to pay. The theft happened between 12.25pm and 12.40pm on June 2.

The items stolen included various L'Oreal skin care products, and Oral B toothbrush heads, with a total value of almost £1000.

The suspects are both aged between 35 and 45 years old. One was around 5ft 8ins tall, slight frame, short light brown hair receding with tuft, wearing frameless spectacles, a navy jumper with diamond pattern in pale blue on front, jeans and black shoes.

His accomplice was around 6ft 1ins tall, stocky build, short fair hair, wearing navy jacket, navy trousers, black shoes and carrying square white bag with patterned sides.

At Adnams in Market Street, Saffron Walden, a white male suspect took a saucepan from the display, placed it down the front of his trousers and left the store making no attempt to pay.

The stolen all-clad saucepan has an estimated value of £115. The theft happened between 9.39am and 9.46am on August 26.

The suspect was aged about 50, around 5ft 6ins tall, of slim build, with dark short hair, wearing sunglasses, beige type chino trousers, a light coloured fleece, brown shoes and check scarf.
