THE Avenance head chef at the Wellcome Trust Conference Centre, at Hinxton Hall, has won the UK final of a prestigious international catering competition.
Josh Fox, 30, is the overall winner of the International Association of Conference Centres 'Copper Skillet Challenge' after a cook-off against seven chefs from other UK conference centres.
Mr Fox who transferred to Hinxton Hall three years ago from the Red Lion, Hinxton, now goes forward to represent the UK at the international final in Georgia, USA, later this month.
