Past members of the Chelmsford Ballet Company are asked to get in touch with the group for its 70th anniversary celebrations, which include a production of A Midsummer Night's Dream from March 20-23.

Past members of the Chelmsford Ballet Company are asked to get in touch with the group for its 70th anniversary celebrations, which include a production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream from March 20-23.

Past members are encouraged to share stories and any archive material, such as photographs or newspaper cuttings that they may have.

They are also invited to see a rehearsal of the Dream, followed by afternoon tea and a chance to meet the dancers and share stories from down the years.

The Chelmsford Ballet Company has a fascinating history and it has launched the careers of dancers including the company’s patron, Christopher Marney, who is now artistic director of Ballet Central and Lee Mead who won the 2007 BBC Television talent show Any Dream will Do to play Joseph in Joseph and the Technicolour Dreamcoat.
